South East South Australia Holidays

The coastline of this region is referred to as The Limestone Coast, a place of sand dunes and rugged shores, dotted with small townships, coastal lakes and lagoons. This is a major centre for commercial fishing and Australia's primary lobster region.

This is home to some of Australia's leading sheep stud properties. There is a rich agricultural hinterland and vineyards that produce some of Australia's finest red wines.

Underground limestone caves, sink holes, freshwater crater lakes and lagoons dot the landscape. Popular activities include diving the sink holes, exploring underground caves, fish the beaches and lagoons, 4WD fun on the stretches of open beach and visits to the national parks and birdlife sanctuaries
